I am a PhD candidate at the School of Social Work. My research and public service interests focus on mental health prevention/promotion; lived experience of depression; the Recovery movement in mental health; and interventions that promote the emotional well being of Latino families. I have over 10 years of experience in mental health research and health promotion/prevention services, with particular emphasis on Latino families.
I got my bachelors in Psychology from the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. Then I pursued a Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University.
