Dennis Marsollier serves as Principal Media Specialist and Faculty Associate for the Interdisciplinary Arts and Performance (IAP) program at the west campus of Arizona State University. His area of expertise and pedagogy is based on an interdisciplinary approach to sound/video/music production.
Mr. Marsollier received his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts and Performance from Arizona State University and a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University. In his present line of work, Dennis always looks for ways to integrate new technology into the learning environment that create synergetic forms of art. For over 20 years, he has taught courses in topics such as Multi-Track Audio Recording, Advanced Audio Production, Digital Editing for Video and Film, Documentaries, Disc Authoring, and Media Output distribution. He is also responsible for managing the IAP Media Lab and Sound Recording Studio. Music is one of his great passions and he utilizes his musical skills inside the classroom as well as for his own personal enjoyment.
Faithful to the core mission of the IAP degree program, Mr. Marsollier engages students by assisting them to self-discover their unique and creative approach to becoming versatile artists in the 21st century.
