Long Bio
Jorge De Cossio is the Senior Director of Digital Infrastructure for Arizona State University’s Enterprise Technology. In this role, he assumes responsibility for overseeing all aspects of digital infrastructure operations and the expansion of the infrastructure. This encompasses a vast network of over 15,000 geographically dispersed network devices and an array of over 10,000 unified communication devices. Additionally, he oversees critical domains such as Data Center operations management, audio-video operations technology, classroom tech operations, including the Operations Center, Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC).
Jorge’s career spans more than 25 years, during which he has held leadership positions in numerous IT organizations across the United States and Latin America in countries like Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. His journey with ASU began in 2017 when he assumed the role of Deputy Chief Information Officer at ASU Enterprise Partners. Jorge also led IT at the W.P. Carey School of Business before joining Enterprise Technology in May, 2021.
Originally hailing from Mexico City, Jorge De Cossio made his way to Arizona in the early 2000s. As a proud alumnus of ASU, he successfully completed his Executive Master of Business Administration program and is currently embarking on an academic journey to obtain his Doctoral degree at the renowned ASU Thunderbird School of Global Management.
In addition to his professional achievements, Jorge takes immense pride in being a father of twin daughters, both enrolled in ASU and esteemed members of Barrett The Honors College. He also has a son who is a senior in high school and is distinguished as all-region Football offensive lineman. He is eagerly anticipating his journey to also becoming a Sun Devil one day.
