Ángel Pinillos' research interests lie in the areas of epistemology, philosophy of language, cognitive science and experimental philosophy. He received his doctorate from the philosophy department at Rutgers University. Dr. Pinillos has published articles in leading journals and has presented his work in over a dozen countries. He has also published in public venues including the New York Times. His book, 'Why We Doubt: A Cognitive Account of Our Skeptical Inclinations' (Oxford University Press) was published in 2023. He is working on another book under contract with Oxford University Press: 'Doubt in an Uncertain World: A Philosophical Theory'.
