Long Bio
Stanlie James is a professor of African and African American studies in the School of Social Transformation in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. In addition, she has a joint appointment to the Women and Gender Studies Program and is affiliated with Justice and Social Inquiry. James previously served as the vice provost for inclusion and community engagement in the Office of the University Provost.
