Urban sociologist, has taught courses related to urban studies and planning since 2003 for graduate and postgraduate and doctoral students in regional economics and architecture at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, then at Corvinus University of Budapest and worked as a visiting professor at Indiana University, Bloomington (USA), Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj (Romania), University of Wrocław (Poland). He is an associate professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, and worked as a Fulbright scholar at the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning at Arizona State University, Tempe (USA) between August 2014 and June, 2025. In professional life, he has served as vice president of the Hungarian Society for Urban Planning since 2015. He has participated in numerous research activities and expert activities on Hungarian and European Union levels. His fields of interest include suburbanization, metropolitan areas, the transformation of urban fabric, gentrification, the effects of globalization, and urban planning, with a focus on Central Europe.
