Much of the research in Dr. Garcia-Pichel’s lab involves microbial communities or key interactions between microbes, and Soumyadev will augment the lab’s capabilities in this area.
Tyler Karasinski is an Astrophysics PhD student researching upper atmospheric dynamics and atmospheric gravity waves. He has additional experience in community outreach, science education, and citizen science.
