Keane's teaching career spans more than 15 years and includes teaching diverse populations of students ranging from four-year colleges, university extensions, and community college programs.
Bebout works in Latina/o/x studies, critical whiteness studies, and American studies. He authored of three books and numerous chapters and articles. Bebout is working on a book on exploring the role of public intellectuals.
