Mossberger's research interests include local governance, urban policy, digital inequality, evaluation of broadband programs, the impact of technology use in communities and digital government.

Leads The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences marketing and communications team in developing strategy and directs all marketing efforts, websites, branding, social media, media relations and publicity.

Eric W. Welch is a professor in the School of Public Affairs, director of the Center for Science, Technology and Environmental Policy Studies (C-STEPS) at ASU.
