Professor Hillegeist’s research interests include the determinants and effects of firm's voluntary disclosure decisions, executive compensation, insider trading, and bankruptcy prediction.

Lawrence directs the administrative, personnel and financial functions of a large science school within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
