Dr. Michelle Banawan is Assistant Director for Intelligent Systems at LEI at ASU, researching AI, NLP, and learning analytics in education. She is also engaged in global academic networks through APRU and APSCE.

Upham is an eco-evolutionary biologist with core interests in how species ecologies have diversified through time and across the tree of life. He studies the phylogenetic ecology of wild mammals, especially desert rodents.

My research interests include control theory, formal methods, and machine learning (including reinforcement learning), with applications on autonomous systems and cyber-physical systems.

Sabiha primarily teaches statistics and data science courses, and her research interests lie in Bayesian modeling, machine learning, statistical computing, and use-inspired data science.
