Hale, a citizen of the Navajo Nation, teaches Federal Indian Policy, Tribal Community Planning and Reservation Economic Development. Her work examines tribal community development, governance and policy.

Dr. Cook-Deegan's research interests include science policy, health policy, biomedical research, cancer and intellectual property.

An award-winning journalist based in Phoenix, Taylor Notah (Diné) serves as the communications specialist for the American Indian Studies and Center for Indian Education departments at ASU.
