Stroud is a planetary scientist and materials physicist interested in the formation and evolution of nanomaterials in astrophysical and laboratory environments. She serves as director of the Buseck Center for Meteorite Studies.

Dr. Wu’s research focuses on electron, phonon, and magnon transport, exploring nanoscale energy transport and conversion through first-principles approaches, as well as material thermal and electrical transport properties.
