Windhorst's research is in astronomy, cosmology, galaxy formation and evolution, the cosmic dark ages and the epoch of First Light, and astronomical instrumentation.

Levin is a theoretical physicist, cosmologist, theologian, and writer. He is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Physics. He is interested in cosmology, black holes, quantum gravity, and theology.
