Long Bio
Carol Stevens is a clinical assistant professor and the coordinator of the Nurse EDucator (NED) concentration in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. She is also a faculty advisor with Barrett, The Honors College at ASU. Her research interests include childhood obesity, cultural influences associated with children's health and healthy work environments for nurses. She received the Outstanding Membership Award from the Arizona Nurses Association (AzNA) in 2009.

Research Activity
Current/Recent Grants and Projects
- Nurses to Nurses: Improving RN Retention & Patient Care. The purpose of this project is to improve nurses’ work environment. Research shows that work environment is a leading contributor to nurse satisfaction and retention and has a direct impact on the quality of patient care. Role: Co-investigator, 1/22/07 - present.
