Chris proudly serves as the Innovation Fellow for Honors Talent Development at Barrett, The Honors College. In this role, he collaborates with internal and external partners to align honors education with the evolving needs of the national and global workforce. Prior to joining Barrett, he provided strategic and operational support to ASU Online programs and partnerships, including the Starbucks College Achievement Plan and Uber Pro Education Program, as a senior program manager at EdPlus. He joined Arizona State University in 2012 as a clinical assistant professor and became the director for secondary education programs and experiences in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. In 2016, he was the recipient of the Faculty Achievement Award for Excellence in Teaching. And for his roles in technology innovation and curriculum design, he was also selected as the 2014 AzTEA Innovative Pre-service Teacher of the Year. Chris holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Innovation and a master’s degree in Secondary Education.
