Mary Wright
Mary Wright is a PhD student in the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning and a member of the Urban Climate Research Center, working with Dr. David Hondula. Her research focuses on extreme heat and human health, with a particular emphasis on the indoor thermal environment.
Wright serves as an Executive Committee member for the Central Arizona American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association and as a student member of the American Meteorological Society Board on Environment and Health. She is also a member of the American Association of Geographers (AAG), American Meteorological Society (AMS), National Weather Association (NWA), and International Society of Biometeorology (ISB) and its associated Students and New Professionals (SNP) group.
Mary Wright received her B.S. in Sustainability and Geography, with a focus on Meteorology and Climatology from Arizona State University.
