Erzhena Soktoeva

Erzhena Soktoeva is a UX designer at Decision Theater - she designs interactive web applications with and for scientists and policymakers to help solve complex problems. 

Erzhena received her Masters of Science in User Experience at ASU’s polytechnic engineering school. At Decision Theater she works with incoming clients to understand their requirements and come up with web application designs through user research, design thinking workshops, and iterative prototyping processes.

In addition to her work as the UX designer, she led software development teams at Decision Theater for over 2 years, delivering projects for clients like Conservation International, Arizona Board of Regents, NAU (Northern Arizona University), and for various NSF grants. 

Erzhena also has a business and technical background that comes from her undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management from WP Carey School of Business and supporting business operations in Azure and Microsoft Store Online. Her experience at Microsoft as a technical project manager helped her get a unique understanding of business operations and requirements as well as agile software development processes.
