SNAP SAP (FI/CO, P2P) Training Manager
Training management and delivery for domestic AP Accounts Payable (SNAP)

The SNAP Project (Streamlining NBCU Accounts Payable), an SAP front end, enabled the replacement a slow offshore system; SNAP reduced the turnaround time for invoices from 6 weeks to 7 business days allowing NBCU to take advantage of vendor negotiated discounts and brought the majority of the work stateside. Wrote training materials and communications delivered training to 3,400+ AP clerks and approvers. SNAP saved NBCU over $10M in its first year of implementation.

Aged Invoices

Reduced the number of aged invoices by 43% in the span of one month (May 2014) by working with the super user team and their managers
Invoice Exception Queue

Reduced the queue of 5800 invoices with missing data by establishing a process to send them back to the AP clerks for updates. This task steadily reduced the exception queue for month-over-month reporting metrics
Training and Delivery on new domestic SAP Vendor Master creation process (VeRA)

The VeRA Project (Vendor Registration Application) made it possible for each business unit to manage the addition of their own vendors to SAP and negotiate vendor discounts for new vendors. The VeRA tool reduced the turnaround time for adding new vendors to SAP from 4-6 weeks to 5-7 business days and reduced NBCU’s per transaction cost from $25 to $.40 by enforcing the use of ACH (direct deposit) instead of paying vendors with checks. Wrote the training materials and taught the business units how to use the new system.
Advanced SAP FI/CO Topics Instructional Design

Wrote the training and communications for this project was to consolidate travel and Pcard purchases on to one card consolidating the processing to SNAP allowing the reuse of the established approval matrix.
Time Warner Cable Acquisition Project

This acquisition, had it been allowed, would have made Comcast the controller of the largest conglomeration of television stations, cable companies and content in the world. The US Justice Department Anti-Trust Division and the FCC did not approve the project, and it was discontinued 6 months after I joined the team. Created change management tools and communications for would-be new employees.
SAP Upgrade to 7.40 GUI

Created communications and training for an SAP upgrade for 6,000+ international and domestic SAP loaded machines to make their version of SAP compatible with the newer versions of Internet Explorer.
Upgrade of Business Explorer (Business Warehouse front end) from 3.x to 7.x.

Designed workbook, web template and query training for the BEx 7.x upgrade which kept BEx working with the new upgraded SAP GUI.

- Created work instructions and videos for this implementation which simplified and automated the reporting of financial data both to senior executive leadership and to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Created training objects used to teach the financial analysts how to use the new workbooks

- Led the training team (7 training developers) in developing Computer Based Training Courses, concept slides and work instructions for Sales, Services, MM, FI/CO and HR including SAP and CRM Basic Navigation courses and Report navigation courses for Global Data Warehouse (GDW), Business Objects (BI/BO) and SAP Report for this implementation which upgraded SAP to ECC 6.0 and CRM to 7.0 and implemented customizations to CRM that reduced the number of manual tasks the sales staff had to do in the system allowing them to spend more time selling

Crossroads (SAP) Training Team Lead (Supply to Market)
- The Crossroads SAP implementation brought Medical Devices and Diagnostics, the last non-SAP segment of Johnson and Johnson, live on SAP so that financial and inventory-related data from all three sectors of the company could be reported to senior executive staff. My role in the project was to create a power user team from the ground up that started by testing the system and continued to support users as level 1 tech support post-go-live and managed the creation and publication of 800+ work instructions

SAP Training Developer (Supply to Market)
- Wrote training modules for FI/CO, specifically focused on Activity-Based Costing and Work Breakdown Structures to apply costs across the wafer fabrication process.This implementation upgraded SAP and brought data from lot master (a home-grown tool) into the SAP landscape giving senior management insight into how many lots of raw material were stored in the warehouses or in-use on the shop floor.
