Mara Scaramella

 Mara Scaramella currently teaches in the RN to BSN and CEP programs. She is also working fulltime as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Phoenix. She completed her BSN at Arizona State University and MSN at Northern Arizona University. She previously taught Pediatrics at Gateway Community College and has been teaching at ASU for the past 8 years.  She has 32 years' experience in Trauma/Surgical ICU, burn ICU, perioperative services, community health and family practice. She is proficient in three languages, Italian, Portuguese and English and is a yoga champion. She is a member of AzNA, ANA, and AANP. She also holds the European Professional Nurses License. She enjoys attending concerts, baseball games and traveling the world.
