Nora Hennessy is an Assistant Professor at ASU in the School of Sustainability. Her research is focused on supporting a transition to a sustainable, equitable, and resilient energy system. Her work primarily fits into three focus areas: 1) understanding the climate and environmental justice impacts of the transportation and electricity systems, with an emphasis on air quality and health impacts; 2) assessing access to clean energy technologies, with a focus on electric vehicles; and 3) assessing resilience of energy systems to climate impacts. She takes an interdisciplinary approach to her work and uses methods including geospatial modeling, air quality analysis, policy analysis, surveys, and interviews.
