Tim Walsh is a Superior Court judge in San Dieg, California. He was appointed to that position in 2005 by the Governor of California. Prior to being a judge he was a trial attorney with the San Diego District Attorneys Office for 13 years, where he tried high profile cases including those involving charges of murder, rape, kidnapping and others. Judge Walsh also served as a Naval Officer and has more than 20 years of combined active and reserve service. He retired in 2008 as a Commander.
Judge Walsh has served in many roles as a judge, including being the Supervising Criminal Judge for San Diego where he supervised all of the criminal judges in San Diego, which is the 3rd largest Judicial District in the country.
Judge Walsh has been married for more than 20 years and has four children.
