Susan Norton serves as a Manager of development, engagement and food systems within the office of University Sustainability Practices. Her key roles include promoting ASU’s sustainability initiatives through the development of new programs and projects as well as the conception, development and management of the Garden Commons. Engagement efforts for the campus include oversight of Campus Sustainability Month, Earth Month, and staff engagement programs.
Her previous experience includes environmental / sustainability education roles with the Desert Botanical Garden, the City of Chandler, Arizona Game & Fish Department’s Heritage Grants – school yard habitat design, Sherman Library and Gardens, The Center for Plant Conservation, National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Hawaii, and Hyatt Hospitality.
