Dr. Natasha Tasevska is a nutrition scientist and nutritional epidemiologist, and holds a tenure-track associate professor position in the nutrition program with the College of Health Solutions. She obtained an MD from the University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius", Macedonia, an master's degree in human nutrition and metabolism from the University of Aberdeen, UK, and a doctorate in nutritional sciences from the University of Cambridge, U.K. She also completed a three-year postdoctoral fellowship in nutritional epidemiology at the U.S. National Cancer Institute.
Dr. Tasevska’s research focuses on the development of dietary biomarkers as more objective measures of intake; application of biomarkers in population studies for the purpose of studying measurement error in self-reported intake; epidemiologic investigations of the effect of sugars consumption on risk of chronic disease using self-reports or biomarkers; and designing behavioral dietary interventions targeting sugars in underserved at-risk populations.
- Postdoctoral Fellowship, Nutritional Epidemiology, U.S. NIH/National Cancer Institute
- Postgraduate Certificate. Academic Practice, King's College London, U.K.
- Ph.D. Nutritional Sciences, University of Cambridge, U.K.
- M.Sc. Human Nutrition and Metabolism, University of Aberdeen, Scotland
- M.D. Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Macedonia
