Wyatt Brossart is an alumnus of the Arizona State University Social Work Program. Prior to moving to Phoenix, he lived in North Dakota and received his undergraduate degree from NDSU in Fargo. Brossart has accumulated several years of experience in the social work field. This experience includes areas such as adult mental health, children's mental health, adolescent mental health, social advocacy, social programs, criminal justice, and psychology.
Prior to entering the social work field, Brossart spent many years working on his family's farm. This was a small grains farm (barley, wheat, canola, flax, etc.). He enjoyed his time on the farm and has a deep appreciation and respect for the profession. After his time on the farm, he worked with children 4 to 18 years old. Brossart had a direct care position working with children who were members of the juvenile drug court. He also worked with children who had committed sex offenses and children that were in a respite program. Brossart spent time working in a high school with students that were struggling with academic and/or personal issues.
Brossart's latest endeavor has been working in the field of adult mental health. He has been working as a psychiatric social worker at the Arizona State Hospital for the past four years and has been teaching online and in person courses for Arizona State University.
