Sang-Pil Han is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, whose research in artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and business analytics has achieved acclaim both academically and publicly. Published in premier academic journals such as Management Science, Management Information Systems Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and Journal of Marketing, his work has also been featured in popular media outlets including Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, and BBC News. Professor Han's research has been awarded multiple grants from distinguished bodies including the Marketing Science Institute, Wharton Interactive Media Initiative, NET Institute, Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative, Korea Research Foundation, and Hong Kong General Research Fund, in addition to funding from private companies. A prominent educational leader, he has served as the Co-Faculty Director for the Master of Science in Business Analytics program at ASU and an Associate Editor at Information Systems Research. His expertise is sought after by a range of organizations, from innovative tech startups like Mathpresso and RoundIn to non-profits such as Simple Steps, a 501c3 organization assisting female immigrants in professional advancement. When not immersed in his professional pursuits, he enjoys playing golf with his wife and two daughters.
