Celeste Scott

Celeste Scott is the Assistant Director for the Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change.  Formerly the Program Manager for Deer Valley, she currently manages overall operations, supervising employees, implementing and facilitating projects and programs, budget and policy administration, and assisting with developing and implementing long range goals, communication strategy, and outreach activities.

For the previous four years she was the Assistant Director for the Center for Archaeology and Society in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change, managing strategic goal implementation for research, community outreach, and partnership development.

Prior to coming to ASU, Celeste was an Academic Director for The Art Institute of San Francisco and Phoenix, managing three interactive media arts programs in Internet technology, film production and visual arts. She also taught undergraduate courses in internet marketing, project management, usability design, e-learning, and web programming.

She has held a number of business development positions in IT for such companies as Honeywell, Thunderbird Graduate School, Verizon Wireless, and Hewlett-Packard.

She holds a Masters in Education Leadership and undergraduate degrees in Media Design and Internet Programming, is Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified through ASU Engineering and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained through Honeywell Inc.
