Long Bio
Kayla Rakita primarily teaches first-year composition and Stretch Writing at the Downtown Phoenix campus of ASU. The Stretch program places student writers into cohorts and "stretches" ENG 101 over the course of two semesters. She has a background in teaching English as a Second Language, and also teaches first-year writing courses for multilingual writers. She has taught different skills courses in Intensive English Programs, including Reading, Writing, and Content Based Instruction.
