Blanca Romero Pino is a PhD Candidate in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at Arizona State University. She has a BA in Education with a concentration in English, an MA in TESOL, and an MA in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. She has over 15 years of experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language, linguistics, and writing and composition. Her research interests include language and identity in immigrant communities, humor studies, critical discourse analysis, and computer-assisted language learning, among others.
