Long Bio
On the theory front, we develop, and use the tools of Bayesian inference, ML/AI, Statistical Physics, and Stochastic Processes, broadly defined, to understand living systems from single molecules to whole cells and now tissues. A special emphasis is placed on interpreting dynamical events resolved down to the single molecule level from spectroscopic and imaging data with growing interests in molecular-based diagnostics. On the experimental side, we investigate the role of bacterial predation and bacterial interactions in complex environments.
