Andrés F. Jiménez-Rodríguez is a Spanish instructor in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts in the downtown campus in Phoenix. He graduated with an M.A in linguistics from West Virginia University. Currently, he serves as the internship coordinator for the Spanish for the professions minor as well as an instructor for Spanish courses both in lower and upper division. Mr. Jiménez-Rodríguez has also completed his MBA in Global Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
His research and teaching interests include the study of tribal languages in Colombia, prosodic intonational patterns in the varieties of Spanish spoken in Latinamerica, Computer Assisted Language Learning and the teaching of languages for Specific purposes
