Ira A Fulton Engineering
Prof. Suzan Allaham is an accomplished engineering educator, design engineer, and project manager with over 25 years of experience in engineering education, industry, and consultation. She is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Arizona State University and a Ph.D. candidate in Engineering Education Systems and Design (EESD). Her extensive career spans seven countries, where she has worked on major engineering projects with global organizations such as The World Bank, Shell Global, and Eesti Energia.
As an accredited engineer in Jordan, and UAE, Prof. Allaham has led and coordinated more than 30 national and international projects, including mega infrastructure developments like the Mujib Dam in Jordan. She has worked with top decision-makers, overseeing project planning, design, financial management, and implementation.
Commitment to Engineering Education & Student Success
Prof. Allaham is a certified educator through the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), with over a decade of teaching experience at university and community college levels. She specializes in curriculum design, active learning methodologies, and interdisciplinary engineering education. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, and real-world engineering applications, through integrating project-based learning (PBL) pedagogy. She contributed to establishing a million-dollar maker space to bridge the gap between academia and professional practice.

After the end of this project all Wastewater in Amman And 60% of Zarqa will be collected in one closed canal to be treated in As Samara Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Sana’a Sanitation Network Project Phase-II & Phase-III, Yemen.

Project Features
The project includes the Study, Design and Construction Supervision Services. The total population of the areas to be served is around 520,000 covering an area of 3861 ha. Phase II of the project cover 10 areas while Phase III covers 6 additional areas. The total length of the sewerage network is around 940 km and design of Septage Tanks WWTP to serve parts of Sana’a in Yemen. .The project will be divided into different contracts each with a value of MS-M10 U.S. $. After the end of this project about 50 - 60 % of the occupied areas of the Capital Sana’a, and all the collected sewage are disposed and treated at the existing Treatment Plant at Rawda area near the International Airport of Sana’a are served by sewerage services.

Project Features
The project involves the construction of a roller compacted concrete dam some 60m in height with a crest length of 210m. The dam site is located in the Maseru District, adjacent to the villages of ha Seeiso and Metlong Ha Makotoko on the South Phuthiatsana River, some 35km from Maseru. The storage area extends upstream to the village of Honamoleli in Berea district, approximately 16 km from the dam site. Ancillary works include the construction of some 88.5 km of the transmission mains, associated pump stations and reservoirs, and a water treatment plant adjacent to the dam.The Metolong Dam site is surrounded by a number of villages some of which already have existing water supply and sanitation facilities whilst some require these services.

Project Features
The project entails the development of new water resources that should fulfill the domestic requirements of the secondary seven cities in Yeman; Al Ghaida, Ma’erb, Al Jouf, Dhamar, Attq, Al Baida and Maa’bar. Water resources are mainly groundwater with different depths. The second part of the project consists of designing the water supply and wastewater collection and several Wastewater Treatment Plants systems for the said cities. The project started on May 2005 and will last for 18 months. The project is financed by the World Bank.
