Erica Price (she/her) is a Ph.D. Candidate at Arizona State University studying US and North American History. Her working topic for her dissertation looks at the political economy and management of water in French, Spanish, antebellum, and postbellum New Orleans and Orleans Parish to 1879.
Erica is also interested in digital humanities and digital history as a method for scholarly research and sharing scholarship and findings with the academy and the public.
Erica has previously completed research on board games in the United States, New Orleans and Gulf Piracy in the early 19th Century, and the Andrew Jackson and Robert E Lee monuments in New Orleans.
In addition to her academic pursuits in history, Erica is involved in the field of Educational Technology in Arizona, where she serves on the board of the Arizona Technology in Education Association (AZTEA).
Erica, a San Diego County native, lives in Phoenix, Arizona and holds an MA in History from Arizona State as well as two Bachelor’s degrees and two Master of Education degrees from Northern Arizona University.
