Ali Sarabi is a PhD student in Industrial Engineering (Data Science) at Arizona State University, where he applies data science, machine learning, and deep learning to address challenges in high-dimensional time series forecasting. His research centers on designing neural network architectures that can model complex, longer-term dependencies, ultimately improving the accuracy of real-world predictions.
In addition to his research work, Ali has received multiple Teaching Excellence Awards for his instruction in engineering and computer science courses. He has supervised capstone projects that merge theoretical foundations with practical applications, helping students develop job-ready skills. Ali also gained industry experience through a Data Scientist Co-op at Bayer Corporation, focusing on predictive analytics to explore market scenarios. His goal is to bridge academic insights with hands-on implementation, guiding individuals and organizations toward informed, data-driven decision-making.
