Jessica Harnisch is a full-time instructor in the Writers' Studio, the largest writing program in the country. Writers' Studio provides students with composition skills designed for the real world and our ever changing technologies. As a fully online program, Writers' Studio bridges space between the on ground ASU courses and students studying remotely throughout the world.
Ms. Harnisch is especially interested in employing new technologies, innovative teaching ideas, and Quality Matters to ensure student success in the online environment. She works closely with her colleagues to enhance the student experience and facilitate an online learning community conducive to learning.
Ms. Harnisch has over eleven years experience teaching online and has taught courses in First Year Composition, American Literature, Business Writing, and American History.
In her free time, Ms. Harnisch can be found SCUBA diving around the world. She combined her passion for photography and diving and runs her own underwater photography business.
