Long Bio
In my role as Director of Integrated Brand Marketing and Communications for ASU Health, I develop and implement comprehensive marcom strategies for ASU's Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation and the School of Technology for Public Health.
Prior to joining ASU in 2017, I spent 25 years as an independent strategic communications consultant. Major clients included the State of Nevada, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology and Greenspun Media Group. Other prior roles include service as Managing Editor of Nevada Woman Magazine and as Executive Director for Instruction, Curriculum Development and Marketing for the American Computer Institute.
I am currently in my final year as an EdD student in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College Leadership Innovation doctoral program. My research focus is on creating library-based health literacy programs in rural Arizona. I'm also the Founder of the non-profit organization Health Education and Literacy Arizona (HEAL AZ.org), which focuses on providing free digital tools and information on vetted local and national health care resources.
