Long Bio
Pavan Pillalamarri is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University. Prior to working at ASU, he worked at Central New Mexico Community college (Albuquerque, New Mexico) as a Physics/Engineering Instructor for a period of four years. In 2013 he completed his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University under the guidance of Dr. John Mintmire. His Doctoral work primarily focused on the Electronic Structure simulations of AlN and ZnO nanowires. His interests lie in the fields of Condensed Matter Physics, Computational Science and Physics education.
