With over 28 years of expertise in the computer industry, I bring extensive knowledge in the realms of telecom-Internet networks, green data centers, and renewable energy within the ICT sector. Throughout my career, I have been driven by a deep passion for leveraging technology to contribute to the advancement of society. Presently, I hold a co-director position in the ASU SolarSPELL Initiative, where our primary focus is to provide offline digital libraries for education to rural remote schools and research on off-grid soil sensing solutions.
My expertise lies in telecommunications ICT for development, wireless networks, data center operations and design, educational systems, and renewable energy in ICT. With my diverse skillset, I am committed to driving innovation in the technology sector to create a positive impact on rural communities worldwide.
I have previously served as the Executive Director at Inveneo, an ICT social enterprise that specializes in providing sustainable computing solutions in developing countries. In my role, I was responsible for overseeing strategic partnerships and project management, including field deployments, client management, and co-working space operations.
As part of my duties, I collaborated with major project funders, such as Google, Facebook, USAID, and Oxfam, to implement network and computing solutions in East and West Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Islands. My extensive experience in this field has equipped me with the expertise to effectively manage complex projects and deliver impactful results that benefit communities in need.
