Ri Lindegren is a multimedia maven who specializes in technology and physical movement practices (dance, yoga, somatic healing, etc). Ri’s first love is filming, and she brings over a decade of professional videography experience to support students and clients in documenting shows, performances, events, and experiences, both in-person and in digital spaces. She received an M.F.A. in Dance and Interdisciplinary Digital Media & Performance from Arizona State University, as well as a B.A. in Anthropology/International Studies/Gender Studies from New College of Florida. She started Dances With Tech LLC to provide socially conscious videography and creative consulting services for artists, small businesses, changemakers, and nonprofits. Ri’s work is dedicated to providing high quality media services paired with deep client listening to ensure that clients are able to be seen how they want to be seen. Ri also brings a wealth of knowledge in digital design, from websites to graphics to interactive platforms, and combines it with project management and user experience planning to achieve success for unique project needs. Ri loves being in process with people, helping students move from the spark of an idea to the next iteration of a project. Her creative spark fires up in supporting other people's creative sparks. Ri will be the Visiting Professor of Dance and Media for the ASU Dance Department for the 2023-2024 school year.
