I am currently an associate professor of statistics and probability. My research focuses on the theory and inference of random fields and dependent data, with particular interest in extremes and geometry of Gaussian and related random fields. These investigations have direct applications to signal and extreme event detection, change point detection, extreme value analysis, and spatial statistics. Beyond methodological development, I actively collaborate on applications in spatial transcriptomics, geoscience, medical imaging, and astronomy, where random field models play a crucial role in analyzing complex, high-dimensional data.
