Bradley Kendrex serves as Vice President, Chief Financial and Operating Officer for the Arizona Board of Regents, providing system-level oversight for financial, operational, academic, and policy initiatives across Arizona’s public universities.
Dr. Kendrex has more than two decades of experience in higher education and government finance. He began his career in government before moving into higher education, where he served as chief business officer for two community colleges. His leadership has spanned both campus and system operations, with a focus on institutional effectiveness, resource management, and governance.
In addition to his administrative leadership, Dr. Kendrex serves as a Faculty Associate in ASU’s School of Public Affairs, where he teaches graduate courses in public administration, finance, and policy analysis.
Dr. Kendrex is actively engaged in national and regional higher education leadership. He is a Commissioner for the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), serves on the board of the American Red Cross – Arizona and New Mexico Region, and is involved with the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) and the Western Association of College and University Business Officers (WACUBO).
Dr. Kendrex earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University, and a Doctor of Education from Oregon State University.
