The College of Lib Arts & Sci
Sydney is a graduate student interested in community-based participatory archaeology and archaeology for social justice.
Sydney has conducted fieldwork in northern Kenya, central Tanzania, Appalachia, and the coastal Southeast (U.S.). She is currently exploring how community-centered approaches and existing archaeological data can be tools for community advocacy in the Carolinas.
