Alison VandeBerg has a strong local connection to ASU as an Arizona native and HUGE Sun Devil fan! She received her Master's Degree in Elementary Education and her Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. Alison has worked for over 10 years in public education with K-2 children. She is the RTBI (Response to Behavior Interventions) lead at her school and has a strong passion for implementing interventions in the classroom. She is the yearbook advisor at her school and has a strong technology background. In addition, she was a graphic designer 5 years prior to teaching.
She received the 2019 DVEF Teacher of the Year Award and currently works as a Kindergarten teacher at West Wing Elementary, named 2018 A+ School of Excellence from the Arizona Educational Foundation in Deer Valley Unified School District.
