Margo Dahlstrom has worked with young children and their teachers for 30 years received a Flynn Foundation Educator Award for unique classroom techniques and memorable classroom experiences.

Dr. Wendy R. Williams is an Associate Professor of English who specializes in writing education and visual/multimodal narrative. She also has expertise in food studies.

Jordan teaches context-centered electrical engineering and embedded systems design courses and studies the use of context in both K-12 and undergraduate engineering design education.

melissa m button, Assistant Dean in HIDA and Associate Director in the School of Art, is an artist and educator whose practice spans painting, drawing, printmaking, and mixed media focused on inclusive, innovative pedagogy.

Dr. Mary McAvoy is an associate professor of theatre in the School of Music, Dance and Theatre and director for the Theatre for Youth and Community undergraduate and graduate programs. 

Dr. Farrand researches wellness and therapy dogs, as well as practices that improve social emotional and academic outcomes of learners in inclusive settings with play-based strategies, such as dramatic inquiry.

Dr. Cala Coats’ research incorporates philosophy, ethnography, contemporary art and art education; and is part of a contemporary discourse on ecologies, social justice, community, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
