Long Bio
Mohadeseh Mousazadeh Miandehi is a Doctoral Candidate in English Literature with a focus on Environmental Humanities at ASU. Her research examines 20th- and 21st-century American and Canadian ecological fiction, which she categorizes as visionary fiction. She is particularly interested in how these works conceptualize and articulate gender, 'peace and security,' place (environment), and environmental justice/injustice. Her work explores how they enrich and help teach “future literacy,” contributing to human survival and climate change mitigation. Currently, she conducts research in environmental humanities and ecocriticism.
