Research Team: 

Dr. Ocampo's research team is currently split between a focus on sports and performance psychology as well as mental health disparity in BIPOC young people and families. In the realm of sports psychology, the team is working on several qualitative and quantitative research projects related to high competition sport engagement in adolescence and emerging adulthood. In the realm of BIPOC mental health disparity, the team is collecting qualitative and quantitative data related to ancestral medicine and the treatment of Latine youth and families. 

Specialties: Multicultural counseling, Sport and performance psychology, Psychology of coaching, Indigenous healing and mental health, Clinical work with children and families.
