Research Interests
I am interested in the macroevolution of island-endemic faunas, specifically how competitive interactions, climate fluctuation, and geological dynamism influence patterns of species distributions and diversity at both intra- and interspecific scales across time and space. My research leverages fieldwork and labwork to answer questions at the interface of biogeography, phylogenetic systematics, population genetics, morphological evolution, and community ecology.
