Kayla Galetta

Nurse Kayla traveled all the way from Boston, MA, to work HERE with YOU! She heard such wonderful things about ASU Prep Academy and couldn't wait to join the team this year, especially when we all have so many questions about how to stay healthy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Background: Kayla received her undergraduate bachelor's degree from Villanova University in Philadelphia, PA, where she studied Nursing and Spanish. She is a pediatric nursing clinical professor at Arizona State University and works with undergraduate and master's level nursing students. She will begin the Pediatric Doctorate of Nursing Practice program at Arizona State University in fall 2021.

When she is not working, Kayla enjoys volunteering with the Maricopa County Public Health Department on their COVID-19 task force and immunization clinic. She loves to paint, play music, spend time outside and play with her baby kitten, Olive.

Kayla has worked for many years as a pediatric registered nurse. From her days as an Early Intervention nurse to her time as a women's health expert and an inpatient postpartum nurse, rest assured that Kayla is here to help you feel at ease knowing your child is truly in good hands. Kayla can help answer your questions about your child's health and help your child reach his or her health, academic, athletic, and personal goals while at ASU Prep. She is a pediatric faculty associate and clinical instructor for ASU College of Nursing and Health Innovation and a candidate in the Doctor of Nursing Practice, Pediatric Nurse Practotioner program at ASU.
