Long Bio

Kelsie Herzer is a graduate researcher working on microbial degradation of environmental contaminants including chlorinated solvents and metals. She holds a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from University of New Mexico with a special interest in community-led research and environmental justice in relation to waste placement.
