Yingying Chen, DNP, RN, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. Beginning her nursing career with a degree from the Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, she later advanced her education with an RN-BSN from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. In 2018, she earned her Doctoral degree in Integrative Health and Healing from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. Dr. Chen brings over a decade of clinical expertise, primarily working with older adults within a variety of healthcare settings, fostering her passion for holistic health approaches. She is a certified Tai Chi instructor and a Reiki Master. Her research interests lie in mindful movement practices (including Tai Chi and Qigong). In addition to her role at ASU, Dr. Chen is pursuing a PhD in Nursing with a focus on Integrative Health at the University of Arizona.
